Peek-a-boo Book PDF FACEBOOK SHARE ICON.

Make a peek-a-boo book with your child.

What You Need:

• Pictures from old magazines
• A composition notebook
• Scissors (for adult use only)

What To Do:

1. Cut some big pictures from old magazine—the bigger the picture, the better.
2. Get a composition notebook and cut a page into several horizontal strips.
3. First ask your toddler not to peek and then put a picture behind the strips.
4. Turn over one strip at a time to reveal a part of the picture.
5. Ask him to guess what the picture is before you lift up the last strip.

Safety Alert: Scissors should be used by adults and kept out of reach of young children. Toddlers do not yet have the coordination to use adult scissors. When your child gets older (three to four years old), use blunt child-sized scissors to let him practice cutting.
